  5.      Since I have been unable to find a New York BBS List that is regularly
  6. updated, I have decided to start one. This current list, NYBBS001, has been
  7. compiled from old lists that I have seen around. It has been broken into two
  8. files, NYBBS001.LST and NYBBS001.OLD which is a compilation of BBS numbers from
  9. other lists. The LST file is from more recent lists and most should be running
  10. BBSes. The OLD file is from older lists, and I would estimate that over half of
  11. the numbers there are no longer active BBSes.

  13.      NYBBS??? will be released every month, and after list 6 is released, BBSes
  14. will be removed if they haven't updated their information with the last 12
  15. months. Until list 6 is posted, all BBSes in the OLD file will remain for
  16. three months, and BBSes in the LST file will stay for 6 months. NYBBS007 will
  17. be comprised of only BBSes in New York who have provided me with updated
  18. information between 2/95 and 8/95.
